A very friendly place and staff are very helpful, we have been there a few times and will be going back, it's a bit hidden, just out of the street but worth a visit ,multi storey carpark next door. Food is always great and reasonably priced.

Efficient friendly service from the staff of this restaurant. There are dining areas inside and outside plus takeaway. A wide range of food is served: hot, cold, breakfasts, lunches, desserts with hot, cold or licenced drinks. Vegetarian and vegan food also available. I always feel welcome here even with my disabilities.

Went here for lunch. Had cod and chips. The fish was fresh and flavoursome. Size of a whale.Staff were absolutely charming. Lovely atmosphere. We sat upstairs where it was very quiet and spacious. Very nice waiters ...when I first saw the name of the place,I thought the o was an e. Oh how I chuckled to myself

Always great food, friendly and polite staff, today I took a photo of the dessert i had after my lunch. Everything was lovely. It’s always nice and clean too. You also get good portion sizes. Would definitely recommend.

The food and service here were immeasurable. We were seated almost immediately by a very kind and accommodating waiter; nothing was too much trouble for him.Myself and my husband ordered the Hot Dog with Chips on the side. At 6 each, it was more than worth the money.Beautifully presented, and freshly prepared, everything tasted amazing. Proper pork sauages in fresh baguettes, nothing cheap here.From being seated, to us eating our food, I would say it took no more than 20 minutes.I would 100% recommend The Red Mingo, and will definitely be returning in the near future!

While on holiday we came into LowestoftWanted breakfast so found this cafe down a side street ,Staff were fantastic ,very clean ,really great coffee, my only reason I’ve marked it down was that the sausages weren’t a good quality sausage ,and the fried bread was a bit greasy.other than that a really good breakfastWould I recommend coming here absolutely,Would I personally come back here absolutelyas I would like to try other items on the menuPrices are good value as well ,Lots of Locals using it so must be good.If you’re in the area and want something to eat or drink definitely give this place a try I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely food, tasty coffee and very kind service.Great value, had shepherds pie (10) which didn’t look that big but very filling. Flat white 3.10 - make better than chain coffee.
